Coscia Pear
Coscia Pear
Origin: Typical Italian cultivar, originally grown in Tuscany.
Features: Small-medium sized fruits; thin and smooth skin, light green in colour (turning to intense yellow when ripe), blush red on exposed side. Flesh is cream-white, with a granular texture, slightly scented, juicy and sugary.
On the table: Delicious to eat fresh, this fruit is used in the preparation of juices, jams, desserts and fruit salads. We recommend to taste it with semi-seasoned and spicy cheese.
Collection: Mid-July to the first few days of August
Conservation: Refrigerating room, until October
